About Henk Storm

For Henk, pastry is about more than simply making something delicious.

The idea behind his now-famous Queersantje The idea originated from a personal moment: his own coming out. Henk translated that story into a rainbow croissant as a symbol of love, being allowed to be yourself, and daring to show your true colors.

What started as an experiment grew into a popular creation at queer markets in Amsterdam, where his pastries attracted a great deal of attention.
