The gay subculture of bears has designed a own flag in 1995 by Craig Byrnes.
The International Bear Brotherhood Flag, also known as the bear flag, was designed to represent the bear subculture within the LGBTQ. The colors of the flag - dark brown, orange, gold, yellow brown, white, gray and black - are meant to represent the colors of bears all over the world. Although not necessarily referred to the human skin color or hair color, the flag was designed with inclusion in the back of the head.
